In the real estate industry, some property agents are given "30:1" selling formula. This means that 30 people visit an openhouse, one person will be buy the house.
In the life insurance industry, we know the traditional figure is "10:3:1", this means that you meet 10 people, 3 people will be interested enough for you to follow up in detail, one person will eventually buy.
In the tele-selling industry, the figures are 293-149-83-10, meaning if you call 293 numbers, you get to speak to 149 people, 83 are interested and 10 people will eventually buy from you. So every indystry has its own "standard" figures.
You have to know these figures so that you do not get unnecessarily depressed and can face each rejection with hope, no dejection.
