Importance of a Logo

In 30 seconds please write at least five logos that you remember the product or that you never see (any product). Why do you remember the logo products?
Usually, people remember the logo, among others, because of the unique / interesting, easily seen or read, and the form of writings or easy to remember. According to you, what the importance in a company logo?

And what's the relationship with the Marketing Revolution? According to me, a logo, among others, make it easier for us to remember things. Because basically people more easily remember the picture.

Therefore, in general, we are usually easier to remember someone's face at the remembrance of his name. So, to do the branding, a company that manufacturers water will patent the bottles, shapes, and others who can show a specific product.
